Since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic in the early 1980’s, Florida has become home to more than one million people living with HIV -the virus that causes AIDS. Though cases are on the decline nationwide, in Miami, rates are still three times the national average. We speak with local experts to learn how doctors are working to keep HIV at bay.
